Venus Enters Gemini

Today, the Goddess of love, beauty, worth and money moves from her place of power in down-to-earth, money hungry Taurus, to airy, fun, and flirty Gemini.

Gemini loves to keep things light-hearted and stimulating. The Gemini energy favours absorbing knowledge and exploring the environment around him. Because Gemini is the sign of the twins, there is much duality that is brought to the focuses of Venus which is always about love, feeling good, and money money money. This will shine a light on Venus's tendency to have a narrowed focus on these subjects. Suddenly the Gemini energy shows her a world of possibilities and options she may have never stumbled upon herself.

This is a great time to connect to potential love interests if you are single. The interactions between those you are physically attracted to mentally connected with will have conversations free flowing and flirty.

Welcome To Aries Season

The time has come where we enter into a brand new energetic and astrological calendar, as we head into Aries season, marking the Spring Equinox for the Northern hemisphere, Fall Equinox for the Southern hemisphere. Where ever you are in the world, expect to feel a sudden shift in energy as we regain our balance as the days turn into equal hours of light and dark. The fire element of Aries, dries us off from the complete saturation of water we just came out of from Pisces season. As we towel off, we are already eager to embark on new endeavours.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and under this influence we are ready to hit the ground running as we supercharge an area of our life. Aries is the trailblazer, the one who wants to dive into whatever excites them, and has the tendency to act first and think later. They initiate energy and new paths.

Similar to the first day of Spring, the world comes to life and sneaks out of their winter shadows with the Sun in Aries. Aries energy is fast, quick to react, impulsive, head strong, and anxious to get things done. They are an abundance of energy as they set off into the world to make leaps and bounds on their paths forward, eager to accomplish what they set out to do.

A certain level of caution comes with this Aries season as all planets are direct ushering in forward action. It might not sound bad, but one of the downfalls of Arian energy is that burn out is high on the list. Often times we are so excited to jump into new things that we don’t manage our energy correctly and can reach levels of exhaustion and burn out long before we ever reach our desired finish line.

With the Aries energy quick to act, we really have to stop and listen to the inner guidance we are being given. We have to PAY ATTENTION, and because Aries energy isn't really one to do that, we need to be overly cautious that we aren't jumping into things without consulting our hearts and our heads.

In astrology, Aries represents the head, which is appropriate for the sign as they are very headstrong and push through the barriers of restriction in order to tackle their dreams. Aries also represents our egos, identities and individualized self. We are putting our own wants needs and desires at the top of the list which is definitely needed. But, because of this focus, we may cause conflict in our relationships for not being considerate of others and not being a team player.

It's important that we not return to old patterns and behaviours during this time as what we focus on in the first weeks of Aries season will last throughout the new energetic calendar. Those who have developed spiritually, will pass this test by standing strong in themselves, their truths, and their power to transcend their old selves to fully embrace the new.

Everything we've learned over the past year, will be put to the test in this new energy cycle. Aries season helps us to get things started and to take the first steps on building new elements in our lives.

Mars Enters Gemini

Today, Mars, (the planet of action, energy, passion, and anger) moves into Gemini. This is a very interesting aspect as we jump from having Mars in an earth sign (Taurus) to and air sign (Gemini).

Gemini (being an air sign) rules the mental plane making our minds more active than they have been throughout Pisces season with all the watery emotions clouding our judgment. We have struggled to maintain clarity and had lost our ability to focus on the details.

Gemini also rules information, how we take it in from the world, process and make sense of it, and then communicate and express ourselves outwardly. Gemini is the sign of the zodiac that rules the hands and because of this, we have a lot of energy urging us to DO something with our hands to keep our mind distracted. Mars in Gemini could totally be represented by the saying "Idle hands are the devil's workshop."

Mars is bringing a fire energy to Gemini's air, meaning we have to monitor how much we are fanning that flame. Our minds are going to be all over the place as they come back online. We will be distracted and jumping all over the place. Gemini loves to multi-task, keeping their mental plane active and engaged at all times.

The same goes for this planetary aspect, but there are a few cautions that come with this placement.

First, the fire energy of Mars is impulsive. It would rather act now and think later. If we act on these impulses, you can best bet you will find yourself in some situations you'd rather not be in, that will require some effort to get out of.

Second, Mars also brings a lot of passion to the table which Gemini can totally work with. There is a high level of productivity that can get accomplished during these times. Do be cautioned though, it is better to multi-task among 3 projects than it is to multi-task among 10 projects. There is a caution here that we do not spread ourselves too thin as we won't really end up accomplishing much.

Third, Mars is also very aggressive. It can cause frustration in a second, and throw a full blown tantrum the next. Because Gemini rules communication and expression, we must be mindful about how we are speaking to others, as we could come off as blunt, rude, and mean. If the energy of Mars can make our tongues sharp, we have the ability to hurt people with our words which will cause drama that doesn't need to be caused. This is a great energy to be bold enough to speak our truth, but just be cautious about how that truth is being delivered.

Be mindful that this energy needs to be exerted through physical movement and exercise. If we do not exert this energy in a healthy way, it will continue to boil within us causing physical symptoms such as anxiety, high blood pressure, and headaches, that we'd rather not deal with. Being this high strung will cause us to lash out at the first opportunity to do so.

It is best to work WITH these energies instead of against them. So make sure you are doing some sort of physical activity to alleviate the fire energy building within, be mindful of how you are speaking to others, and keep your mind busy and engaged at all times.

As with all things in life, there are pros and cons, and advantages and disadvantages. This aspect is no different. Mars is a power house of an energy to work with, and Gemini is a brilliant energy that will help us connect the dots of logic, as long as we do not act upon our first impulses.

Mars Enters Taurus

Today, Mars, the warrior planet of action, drive, passion, and assertiveness, enters into grounded, sensual Taurus after a very energetic and exhausting time in Aries.

Mars moved into Aries on June 27th, infusing all of us with and energy so fierce, it forced us to take action and be bold enough to assert ourselves in whatever way was needed and necessary in order to start new paths for us to walk upon. Mars went retrograde on September 9th, prolonging it’s time in its pace of power, but really pushing the energy inside of us, where frustrations, anger, and new desires to take action on creating change festered up within us. Mars finally went direct on November 13th, giving us our power back. We frantically tried to take action and make changes but were hindered by some other planetary energies.

If you think back to June, you might need to take a deep breath as you review how much you’ve gone through since then. The overwhelming urgency to get out there in the world, try new things, and follow your passion has been exhausting. We ran into many brick walls, failed to really get started on our dreams and passions, yet have felt this electrical charge pulsing through our veins to keep pushing.

With Mars now moving into Taurus, we get a much needed break. Taurus is an earth energy and has us feeling much more grounded and stable already. Our energy and drive get mellowed out in Taurus. It will be a welcomed change of pace for a short time until the window of frustration opens. We don’t get to move as fast with Mars in Taurus. We have the ability to actually think through our impulses and actions we desire, because Taurus is a practical sign. Taurus wants us to get back to basics and rule out any action, want, need or desire that doesn’t result in acquiring possessions (relationships, material items, sense of worth or value) that doesn’t bring a long term comfort to our lives.

Taurus wants us to only focus on building ourselves up, aligning with energies that will appeal to our senses and help us level up our material worlds. We are going to work hard to protect what we already feel is of value to us, especially where emotional security is concerned.

We will find even more of our inner strength and determination with Mars in Taurus, and will find it easier to really hone in on our passions, and control our drive towards our goals. “Slow and steady” is the energy with Mars in Taurus which is a welcomed change from the breathless efforts of just trying to keep up as Mars in Aries had us feeling.

This is going to be a great transit for us to ground in as we get more in touch with our physical experience. We have been consumed by our thoughts (air) and have been driven by our passions (fire) within. Mars in Taurus understands that a well controlled fire will provide a long term resource and with it will have the energy, spark, and passion to see our plans through.

Ascension Symptoms

I have been talking a lot about our energy being upgraded lately, both in my blog posts and to my clients and subscribers. Receiving an energy upgrade is a very real process and has great effects on our physical bodies. Astrological shifts and portal activation are very much focused on upgrading our lightbodies with new frequencies and vibrations.

Although we receive energetic downloads of information all throughout the year, there are some points in our calendar in which the energy is SO great, that it has a Universal effect on all of us "sensitives" as we go through the process of lightening our loads and becoming more enlightened as we travel our spiritual path.

Also known as ascension symptoms, the physical body does actually suffer under these new lighter energy codes as we receive them. Depending on where you're at in your spiritual journey, and how sensitive you currently are to energies, you may be feeling a long list of physical symptoms that just can't be explained or diagnosed by medical professionals.

Since the eclipse season and the retrogrades, many people (including myself) have seen really weird aches and pains surface in their bodies. Some had old, healed ailments come back out of nowheres, while others were experiencing these aches and pains for the first time with no physical trauma to help explain their existence.

Feeling pressure, on the front of the chest, back of the neck, and in the head (especially sinus pressure) can all be linked to the physical symptoms of an energy upgrade. When we think of our physical bodies in relation to our energy centers (chakras) it becomes much easier to understand which parts of us are under the most influence as we move through the upgrade process.

I myself have been seeing bright flashes of light to my left. Vision changes - blurred vision, light sensitivities, and seeing flashes of light in the peripherals - are all common symptoms of the ascension process, or energy upgrade. The crown chakra is the main focus of my current upgrade. I can only assume the Universe is turning up the dial on my gifts and abilities making me able to see more in the Spirit realm and strengthen my connection to those in Spirit.

Emotionally, people feel like trains wrecks, flip flopping back and forth between being happy, peaceful, calm, and having faith that everything will be okay, to depression, anxiety, panic, and a feeling of hopelessness, all in a short amount of time. These roller coaster of emotions are a perfect example of cycling through the energy upgrade, making leaps and bounds connecting with the Universal consciousness, being infused with all the lighter emotions, connecting with the optimistic future of the 5D + world, only to have the 3D world pull us back down to the heavier emotions of this human experience.

There is a constant push and pull taking place as we shed the old parts of self and embrace the new, but the purge, the cycle we are going through can be very overwhelming and confusing, especially when we aren't aware of the signs and symptoms of an energy upgrade.

Many clients have reached out to me, complaining that their sleep has been disrupted and they are having wild dreams of people and places that they've never encountered before. Please know that as we upgrade our energy and raise our vibration and frequency we connect to a totally different level of dream states than we ever had access to before.

I've been studying dreams for close to 20 years now, and yet still I'm fascinated by the fact that our subconscious mind has more power over us than our waking minds do. Diving deep into dreamwork can expose where your blocks are in your life and what pain and trauma your subconscious mind tries so hard to process while you sleep. What I've noticed, is that when we undergo such powerful energy shifts, we get exposed to parts of our Souls that have been to other dimensions with a whole group of people that we've never met before or have any point of reference of here in this lifetime.

All of these sleep disturbances are perfectly normal under the current circumstances of this energy shift. Taking pointers from our energy centers once again, those sleep disturbances would suggest that your crown chakra is the greatest focus of this upgrade, connecting you to a higher sense of knowing than what you've experienced here in this physical world.

Another common complaint is pain or discomfort in the knees. Whether you are experiencing this pain in both legs or just one, please know that this is where you hold your fear about taking your next steps on your path. If the right side of your body is giving you the issues, chances are you are struggling to embrace the change of your outer world. The fear of providing for yourself and your family, the goals and successes you fear from actually reaching, literally being afraid to take the initiative and start taking ACTION in your life. Where as, the left side indicates the emotional issues we need to resolve to remove the energetic blocks placed on our path.

In no way does this mean that these physical symptoms aren't real and any less painful just because they are energetically manifested. Instead, they are as real as it gets, indicators for us to see what lies underneath of these physical pains, and how to energetically mend them.

I can assure you that you are safe and protected as you go through this process, and that you will never be given more than you can handle. You can always reach out to your Guides and to the ArchAngels to help alleviate some of the symptoms that become too much to deal with.

It's important that you listen to your body and nurture it back to a place of health and alignment. Engaging in energy raising activities can help the transition go faster and be less intense. Below I will include what is a very long list of possible symptoms and include some activities you can try to alleviate the discomfort.

Possible Physical Symptoms you may experience during an energetic upgrade:

• Your intuition is heightened and you have an unexplained knowing that something energetically is effecting your body

• Aches and pains, tremors and twitches that come and go

• Discomfort in your joints

• Unexplained fatigue

• Pressure in the head, chest, and to your sinus area in particular

• Tingles or shocks throughout your body

• Temperature fluctuations

• Headaches that don't seem like normal headaches, unresponsive to medicine

• Blurry vision, seeing flashes or lights out of the corner of your eye

• Being overly sensitive to light

• Feely very spacey or disoriented

• Heart flutters not related to a medical condition or exercise

• Sudden panic or nervousness with no known trigger (often dissolves quickly)

• Hearing music that is not physically playing in your environment

• Hearing conversations as if you were listening to a radio

• Ear ringing

• Being overly sensitive to sound

• Feeling off balance

• Hearing electricity

• Cold or flu like symptoms that come and go without actually being a full fledged cold or flu

• Sleep disturbances

• Night sweats

• Digestion changes

• A change in dietary cravings

• Emotional disturbances

• Aversion to people, places, things that once brought you joy

• Unsure of who you are

• Developing new beliefs

• Being overwhelmed by groups or crowds

• Clumsiness, like gravity is working against you

• Forgetfulness, or feeling like there's a lapse in time

• Sudden changes to your foundations (relationships, jobs, career, living situation)

• A change in how you connect to animals and nature

• Seeing patterns and signs from the Universe

• A change in your taste buds

• Dreamscape changes (the people, places, or events in your dream world)

• Having your cell phone battery die quicker than normal (you drain it of it's energy to stay charged)

• A desire to connect with like minded people

• Moments of gratitude

• Profound ah-ha moments

• A deep sense of knowing

Things you can do to try and ease your experience:

• Give yourself time outs to check in with yourself, your wants, needs, and desires

• Excuse yourself from overwhelming situations to ground your energy

• Running your hands under cold water can help you feel more grounded

• Listen to positive music (be mindful of the lyrics and the feeling of the music - angry, harsh music should be avoided

• Spend time outdoors in nature

• Rock or sway to move the energy within

• Trust that you will be okay

• Take note of dream messages

• Eat foods that are healthy nourishment for your body

• Soak in salt water baths

• Apply heat to your aches

• Nurture and care for yourself as if you were taking care of a friend or child

• Accept and embrace the changes

• Spend time in meditation or yoga

• Breathe deeply

• Let the emotions come and go, knowing that they are merely visitors and will not stay for long

• Forgive yourself for being clumsy

• Acknowledge the points of discomfort in your body and ask yourself what the energetic reason is for these pains

• Acknowledge the flashes of light as spirit trying to communicate and tell them that you are trying hard to understand them

• Be patient with yourself as you upgrade, understanding that it is all for the greater good of who you need to be, to be in alignment with your new goals and dreams

Of course you may not be experiencing all of these symptoms, and there are definitely other symptoms that can manifest that weren't included in this list. The Full Moon In Libra

Today, we will be experiencing very intense energy as our Libra full moon has us focused on our relationships. Regardless of all of the other planetary activity at this time, the moon in Libra alone would have us reviewing our emotional comforts, our safety and security within our current relationships. Because this is taking place opposing the Sun in Aries, we are pressurized with an energy that has us balancing our energy, love, and attention among ourselves vs. others, me vs. we, and independence vs. partnership.

Aries and Libra are polar opposites and under this energetic influence, you can bet our hearts will be undergoing some important transformations as we give stock to our relationships, and we see whether we are giving too much of ourselves away.

This is a time of unity. Where we examine ourselves in regardless to how we share ourselves with others, and where we can oversee the divides we’ve created within our relationships and within ourselves preventing us from totally being at peace with our lives. Libra represents harmony and peace, showing us where balance needs to be restored.

Regardless of where you are currently at in the relationship spectrum, this Supermoon in Libra will have us all breaking our own hearts to see where we can turn our heartbreaks into a source of power.

New Moon In Aries

Today, we have our very first New Moon of the new energetic and astrologic calendar, in Aries. With Aries season well under way, you may be feeling all over the place with your energy, drive, and attention.

Normally, Aries season is full force forward, but this year, because of us still being under Mercury’s retrograde shadow and Mercury still in Pisces, we've had the brakes put on our actions. Mars, (Aries ruling planet) is sandwiched in between Saturn & Pluto causing a lot of restrictions and destruction. We are still trying to adjust to the overwhelming thoughts and ideas in our mental plane, while our physical energy just isn't up to par.

The New Moon in Aries, will help us get our butts in gear. There is an abundance of energy as we set off into the world to make leaps and bounds on our paths forward, eager to accomplish what we set out to do.

A certain level of caution comes with this Aries season as it is being shadowed by Mercury’s retrograde shadow period. This means that we are going to get off to a slow start in accomplishing what the Aries energy wants us to do. We have to still rely heavily on our intuition to guide us through this shadow period.

With the Aries energy quick to act, we really have to stop and listen to the inner guidance we are being given. We have to PAY ATTENTION, and because Aries energy isn't really one to do that, we need to be overly cautious that we aren't jumping into things without consulting our hearts and our heads.

In astrology, Aries represents the head, which is appropriate for the sign as they are very headstrong and push through the barriers of restriction in order to tackle their dreams. The Sun moving into Aries poses an interesting tension on us, as the Sun and Chiron (the wounded healer) will meet up with each other giving us an opportunity to set the tone for the next 12 month energy cycle and how it is we are going to heal. We are going to be moving out of ego (head) and learn to live life from a higher sense of knowing as we tap into our higher consciousness and newly developed mental plane.

It's important that we not return to old patterns and behaviours during this time as what we focus on in the first weeks of Aries season will last throughout the new energetic calendar. Those who have developed spiritually, will pass this test by standing strong in themselves, their truths, and their power to transcend their old selves to fully embrace the new.

Uranus Goes Retrograde

Today, completing the cosmic trifecta of events, is Uranus going retrograde in Taurus. Uranus first entered into Taurus back in May of 2018, starting the domino effect of having our foundations rattle into a pile of dust.

Uranus is the planet of sudden change, rebellion, and freedom, while Taurus is a fixed earth sign focused on being productive using the skills and talents to the best of their ability to create financial wealth and long-term security. Uranus in Taurus isn't the best blend of energies, but since its pairing we have seen the influence of their energy on a public platform, effecting our earth with climate control, and natural disasters, we've seen it creep into our banking structures, and in an increased value and worth in the female population.

Uranus going retrograde will be giving us a timeout to retrace our steps since May 2018, and take a good look at where we've increased our worth and value. Uranus will be in Taurus until April of 2026, and as an outer planet, its energy effects are low and slow. Because Uranus is all about let go of attachments, especially where physical and monetary matters are concerned, and Taurus being so stubborn not wanting to make even the slightest change, we really are going to struggle with the inner conflict of letting go of all that we are overly attached too. Mercury Enters Leo

Today, the planet of communication, information, and expression, re-enters into the fiery, brave and bold sign of Leo. Most of us will barely remember Mercury entering Leo the first time around on June 26th, because so much has gone down since then, it literally seems like a life time ago.

But, only a month ago we actually got a taste of what Leo does to the way we express ourselves when we finally stood up and spoke up about our feelings. Mercury in Leo honours the heart-space, speaks one's truth, lives more authentically, sparks new creative and romantic passions, and has fun, acting playful and lively, with a child-like energy. Because Leo is the performer of the zodiac and tends to be a bit dramatic in taking over the spotlight, we will likely feel a strength to want to be heard and seen.

Mercury rules the mental plane, and since Mercury came out of retrograde, it's been deep in the emotional and intuitive waters of Cancer, trying to mend fences and repair hearts from the chaos created while retrograde.

So here we go again.

Leo energy makes us bold, brave and confident under this influence and we aren't afraid to speak up and speak out on our truths. It's great timing actually to emerge from the darkness of emotions over the last few months, and REALLY stand up proud! Whatever it is you've been afraid to talk about or hesitant in expressing outwards, will be the topic and theme of your truth as you are being encouraged to let it all out.

Caution #1: Because we are all fired up and wanting center stage, listening isn't our best quality. We are crappy listeners under this influence and that in itself might cause hurt feelings.

Caution #2: This energy influence makes us have the tendency to ramble on long after we've made our point and deliver our truth. Whatever it is you are brave enough to now talk about, needs all the attention it can get. Don't ruin the impact of your words being expressed by rambling on about it. Caution #3: Because we are still under Mercury's retrograde shadow (until the 15th) we are still in clean-up mode trying to fix what was broken under the retrograde energy. This means that there is a fairly good chance that we may have to revisit what we spoke about under this energy influence to pick up some pieces or clean up the aftermath of our truthful expression at a time when emotions weren't clearly understood. This is just another reason to formulate what you want to say in your head, and then allow the brilliant Mercurial energy to analyze and edit the best way to deliver it all, and know when it cut it short.

Jupiter Goes Direct

Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion has been retrograde in its place of comfort and power since April 10th, 2019. Jupiter first entered its place of power in Sagittarius back in November of 2018, providing us with major learning opportunities where expanding our minds, beliefs, and spiritual self is concerned.

When Jupiter went retrograde back in April, the energetic force and influence Jupiter usually lends us to make things happen outside of ourselves, turned the energy inward for a journey and exploration of our inner world. It has been a time of huge consciousness expansion as we've connected to our intuition and spiritual selves, helping to grow and expand the way we see ourselves and the world we live in.

The Lion's Gate: 8/8

Today, we are going to experience a pretty significant energy shift as the Lion's Gateway opens. Every year on August 8th (8/8), the cosmic alignment of the Earth, the star Sirius, and the Galactic Center, all end up perfectly positioned and aligned in the sky in the sign of Leo, thus why it's called the Lion's Gateway.

When this alignment takes place, we will experience a high rate of increased energy flowing between the physical and spiritual realms. This surge of energy directly effects our DNA as our energy bodies are infused and downloaded with an energetic upgrade, an "awakening" so to speak. The vibrational frequencies are so high, that many of us will feel both the energetic and physical effects of this infusion on our physical and energy bodies. This is a supercharged download with an accelerated integration process.

What does this mean?! Basically, we are upgrading. Many of us have been going through utter turmoil waiting for huge changes to either take place, or waiting to see what's next for us if the changes have already happened. This isn't on a small scale either. We are talking about life changing, and life altering themes being spotlighted. Long lasting relationships are either just beginning or ending, career changes and the quest to align with your life path or inner calling will be a huge focus, your health issues will resolve as others are about to enter a time of health crisis or focus, and the overall ongoing detachment from material things will be a huge theme for everyone doing inner soul work.

Everything has been, and continues to be, under review, as we are energetically being forced to embrace our authentic selves, and step away from the ego based programming we have been operating from. Although these sound like scary, life changing events, rest assured that all of the changes are being brought up and carried through for our highest good. The transformative process of letting go of the old habits and ways of thinking and operating get a bit messy, but the ultimate result of all this inner work will be worth every last struggle once we are standing in our truth and embodying the love and light that infuses us during this beautiful galactic alignment.

As if the energies of the last few months weren't enough for us to deal with, the energy will be the strongest tomorrow when the gateway fully opens. In order to stay as grounded as possible throughout this time, please make sure you are doing all you can to find, and hold onto your center. Mercury Goes Direct In Cancer

Finally! After three too many weeks of mercury (the planet of information, communication, and expression) being water logged in all the emotional waters of the home and family dynamic, we are ready to start seeing things clearly and moving out of the deep end.

Mercury first entered into Cancer back in June, and made for a messy turn of events where our feelings were concerned long before Mercury went retrograde. Mercury caused all kinds of miscommunications, and misunderstandings especially in our close relationships, and then moved into Leo very briefly giving as a bit of courage to say our peace where it needed to be heard.

When mercury went retrograde, it started retracing its steps, moving back over the topics and issues created months earlier, and in true retrograde fashion, dug up all kinds of lessons we all thought we were done with.

Now with Mercury going direct again, he is starting at the 24th degree of cancer, giving us a two week shadow period to try and clean up the mess we've made since June. The waterworks are definitely over, but prepare yourself for one last cry as we revisit the topics and things that upset us many moons ago.

With mercury now moving forward, we will see situations resolve themselves. We will feel the clarity come back into our mental space, and we are going to be able to express ourselves, communicate our thoughts and feelings effectively and actually have them understood.

Because lots has happened to us since mercury first entered cancer, and as it went retrograde (most specifically eclipse season) coming out of this backward motion may take some time. New Moon In Leo

Today we have our Black, Super New Moon in Leo which serves as the catalyst for us to emerge with brand new energies and sense of self. This is the tipping point so to speak, where after months of emotional anguish we are feeling strong enough, revived, and renewed enough, to stand tall and proud as we walk out of the dark cave we've been hiding in.

This is a black moon, meaning it is the second New Moon in the same month (which doesn't happen very often), and it's also a super moon as the proximity of the moon from earth is at its closest distance, not only appearing closer than ever, but the intensity in which this moon is effecting the tides (and the water within us) is extreme.

A New Moon is classically a time to invite new ideas, intentions, new elements to our lives, and this New Moon is not only a great time to be setting new intentions, but it is the first New Moon in months that actually support us in manifesting.

We have been beaten down and knocked over the last couple of months. With eclipse season breaking us down, with all the planets in retrograde forcing a pressurized transformation of our inner-selves, this new moon, the absolute center of the zodiac wheel and galactic calendar has our hearts wide open, bearing all wounds in the name of love.

This New moon carries a lot of power, asking us to step up and take ownership, to take back our power, to take control of our lives, and to be the leader we need to be in our own worlds. This new moon takes place only 46 minutes before mercury comes out of retrograde, meaning we can finally start moving forward again and escape the emotional waters that many of us have been drowning in.

This New Moon taking place in Leo is the heart of the lion. This is when we allow the heart to lead, to show us where it is we've been living in fear, and where we've allowed our ego and critical mind to block our intuition and our heart from making the decisions.

Under this energy we are being encouraged to take the anxieties we feel in our gut up into our heart space, and the fears and doubts we create in our mental space, down into the heart chakra. And when you calm the mind long enough, you will see that the heart knows and heals all. No one knows you better than you know yourself.
