Uranus Retrogrades in Taurus

Today, Uranus is going retrograde in Taurus until January 18th, 2022. Uranus first entered into Taurus back in May of 2018, which began the pre-game of the great awakening we are currently experiencing. Uranus is the planet of the collective consciousness, spiritual awakening, sudden change, shock and awe, rebellion, and freedom. Taurus is a fixed earth sign focused on our earthly attachments such as love, money, and possessions, encouraging us to build and create talents, skills, and empires.

Uranus in Taurus isn't the best blend of energies, but since its pairing we have seen the influence of their energy on a global platform, affecting our earth with climate control, natural disasters, financial crisis, agriculture issues, and overall the value and worth we put on mother earth. Individually, Uranus in Taurus will reveal where we are too attached to our 3D lives, the people we attach ourselves to, the way we make and save our money, and our relationship and attachments to material possessions and goals.

Globally, we need new innovations to help save our mother earth, we need to breakthrough bringing the health and wellness of our planet back to the forefront of concern. Adopting new green energy concepts, promoting living off grid, and focusing on the diets we consume, promoting to live more off of the earth, will be just a few focuses of this energy. We may see a disruption to the financial market as new currencies such as blockchain and digital currencies make more of a splash.

Individually, Uranus in Taurus will point out where we are fixated on certain things, too attached to items or ideas, and highlight where we are too stuck in our ways. This is all to help us detach from earthly things and create a more free flowing form of acceptance instead of being so highly dependable on creature comforts. Venus in Libra

Venus, the Goddess of love, money, beauty, pleasure, and long-term commitments moves into Libra today giving us a bit of a break as she steps into her place of power. Venus rules over both Taurus and Libra. While in Taurus, Venus is more money and “building” focused, while in Libra she is more consumed with love and finding peace and balance in all we do. While in her place of power, she is very charming, flirty, highly social, and beams with a beauty that shines very bright.

Although her main goal and focus is love and relationships, she remains very cool and detached in her quest to secure long-term relationships. She is evaluating her current positions in life in both love and money, and is truly breaking down what it is that brings her life joy and value. She is willing to compromise and negotiate more fairly under the Libra energy because her ideas of love become a bit more realistic to her compared to some of the imaginary ideals she often gets swept away in.

Heartfelt conversations will be much more easier to have as we want to establish fairness, peace, and balance in our exchanges. We are much more soft spoken and friendly while Venus is in Libra, but because we have other planetary aspects at play, we may just find ourselves having imaginary conversation in our head first.

There’s a lot of topics and themes for us to sort through. We are working on our own self worth due to our relationships showing us where we need to level ourselves up in the self confidence department.

All of the heavy hitting planets are all in retrograde right now showing us where we’ve been trying to hold onto old past patterns and behaviours. But the new energy of Uranus now retrograde (the great awakener) wants us to wake up and see where we need to monitor how we share our energy with others.

Venus in Libra will cover all the bases of worth and value within ourselves, our relationships and our money matters. There will be all kinds of new revelations that will change the course of how we value ourselves and those we choose to share our lives with.

Avoid being overly aggressive under this influence as peace and harmony are the ultimate goals. April's FOOL day

I thought today would be a good day to launch a new series about the astrological associations to the Tarot deck.For those of you that aren't familiar with the Tarot, it is a deck of cards contain mystical messages of symbolism used for spiritual guidance. It represents an innocent spirit, full of hope and faith, on a journey or quest that excites the Soul. He walks with his head to the sky, connected to the Universe, knowing that he is being guided by a force much greater than anything here on earth.He edges near a cliff where he seems to pay no mind. His loyal companion along side of him proves to offer the protection he needs as he faces the new territory before him. His belongings tied up in a sac, thrown over his shoulder, represents not needing much from this material world.THE FOOL is marked with the number 0 as it is both the beginning and the end of the spirit we embody at the beginning and end of our quest. This card is strongly associated with Uranus and Aquarius, and as an air element.THE FOOL represents the beginning of an idea. Uranus Enters Taurus

Uranus, the planet of shock and surprise, unexpected and sudden change, revolution, freedom, and individuality, makes its move into Taurus where it will stay for 7 years. Uranus has an 84 year total orbit, meaning it takes that long for it to do a complete cycle throughout all the signs. It spends approximately 7 years in each sign and with each move Uranus makes it impacts us as a global collective on some pretty powerful issues.

Uranus moved into Taurus (the sign where the Goddess Venus rules over love, beauty, money and possessions) back on May 18, 2018, and stayed there until later retrograding back into Aries in November. Although the time in Taurus was not for very long, it did give us a taste of what’s about to come.

For many of us, 2018 was a time of breakdowns and destruction. Our relationships were rattled, our careers were shaken and the world came together as we supported women all over the world in the #MeToo movement. I personally had my foundations rattled into a pile of rumble as many of us did, creating a brand new opportunity to align ourselves with our authentic truth and start living lives that were supportive of our Soul’s heart and desires.

When Uranus slipped back into Aries, it gave us a bit of a break to go back to our inner worlds and clean up the mess that was created within. But now, with Uranus direct in Taurus, we can expected a huge shift in ourselves and in the world as the lightening of Uranus strikes down hitting mother earth, triggering all of us to upgrade our vibrations and frequency to support the 7 year cycle that has been initiated.

This shift will effect everyone, but will have the most impact on the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius), as they get fast forwarded in life lessons forcing them to leave their comfort zones. These fixed signs do not like change unless it’s a change they themselves want and agree too. Unfortunately, they won’t have much of a choice under this particular influence to get out in the world and spice things up.

Uranus in Taurus will have long-term effects on us as this aspect favours long-term relationships, long-term growth, and long-term success. We will find ourselves attracted to things of beauty that break the mould as far as what we were previously use to being attracted to.

We will see global changes in how we protect mother earth and how we use the resources of the world. With sudden changes and unexpected opportunities revolutionizing the way we operate in our finance sector, no doubt we will feel this energy on an individual level as well.

Because Uranus is moving into Taurus on the same day as the most magical New Moon in Pisces takes place, just hours after Mercury dips into a retrograde, we can expect for the energy to be a bit wonky until it stabilizes.

Until then, it’s a perfect time to tap into the New Moon vibes, dreaming of all the beautiful things you’d like to experience in your life, especially considering the areas that Uranus and Taurus will effect.

This is a brand new world, as most of us weren’t around back in the 1930’s when Uranus and Taurus were last together, so we are all in uncharted waters. What I know to be true is that individually, we are aligning to a brand new frequency that is very supportive of our earth, its resources, and the feminine energy that spans the globe.

It is exactly what the world needs right now, so please do your part by first taking care of yourself, empowering your own energy and vibration, and recognize that when we all work on ourselves, we connect on a collective level which funnels our energy not only into each other, but into the earth as a whole.

Mars Enters Taurus

Today, Mars, the warrior planet of action, drive, passion, and assertiveness, enters into grounded, sensual Taurus after a very energetic and exhausting time in Aries.

Mars moved into Aries on December 31st, infusing all of us with and energy so fierce, it forced us to take action and be bold enough to assert ourselves in whatever way was needed and necessary in order to start new paths for us to walk upon.

If you think back to the beginning of this year, you might need to take a deep breath as you review how much you’ve gone through since then. The overwhelming urgency to get out there in the world, try new things, and follow your passion has been exhausting. We ran into many brick walls, failed to really get started on our dreams and passions, yet have felt this electrical charge pulsing through our veins to keep pushing.

Now that the Mars and Uranus’s fireworks display is over (Feb. 11 - today) as they paired up in the final degree of Aries, we can simmer down a bit. Their pairing made for some wild weather, intense energy, and a lot of really confusing energy as we ebbed and flowed between our energetic charge forward, and our many bouts of anger and frustration.

With Mars moving into Taurus, we get a much needed break. Taurus is an earth energy and has us feeling much more grounded and stable already. Venus rules Taurus and there is a perfect timing aspect here that Mars moved into sensual and sexual Taurus on Valentine’s Day.

Our energy and drive get mellowed out in Taurus. It will be a welcomed change of pace for a short time until the window of frustration opens. We don’t get to move as fast with Mars in Taurus. We have the ability to actually think through our impulses and actions we desire, because Taurus is a practical sign. Taurus wants us to get back to basics and rule out any action, want, need or desire that doesn’t result in acquiring possession (relationships, material items, sense of worth or value) that doesn’t bring a long term comfort to our lives.

Taurus wants us to only focus on building ourselves up, aligning with energies that will appeal to our senses and help us level up our material worlds. We are going to work hard to protect what we already feel is of value to us, especially where emotional security is concerned.

We will find even more of our inner strength and determination with Mars in Taurus, and will find it easier to really hone in on our passions, and control our drive towards our goals. Slow and steady is the energy with Mars in Taurus which is a welcomed change from the breathless efforts of just trying to keep up as Mars in Aries had us feeling.

This is going to be a great transit for us to ground in as we get more in touch with our physical experience. We have been consumed by our thoughts (air) and have been driven by our passions (fire) within. Mars in Taurus understands that a well controlled fire will provide a long term resource and with it will have the energy, spark, and passion to see our plans through.
