The Winter Solstice

The Winter Solstice has come to the northern hemisphere, marking the first day of winter, the shortest day of the year, and the first day of the new solar year. Many people in our modern day world see January 1st as the first day of the new year, and it is most definitely the first day of the calendar year.The Winter solstice marks a new year in the energetic world, where we recognize that this is the beginning, the first phase of the season where we go inward, silencing the mind and prepare ourselves for the year to come.The winter solstice lines up with the Sun moving into Capricorn, lending us the energy to focus on what we need to do to start the energetic year off on the right foot.During a time when the modern world is deep into the holiday spirit, gathering with loved ones and celebrating their own traditions, it's truly a time where we come together raising the spirits of those around us, before we enter into the great slumber of the winter months.If you can think of the seasons according to the way in which you would be planting seeds for your eventual harvest, the winter solstice would be a very recuperating time. All the crops would have been harvested in the fall, prior to the colder weather moving in. Our ancestors would have worked very hard to prepare for the cold winter months, being cooped up indoors and relying on their success throughout the growing season to get them through the long winter months.The winter solstice marks a job well done, and now a time to rest. Although there are many winter activities that get a chosen few out in the elements for some fun, the overall vibe of the winter is cold, dark, and long. People retreat to their homes, finding comfort under blankets and in this modern day world many cozy up to their TVs for some much need R&R.Energetically, this is a time where we need to be comfortable with quiet. Nature has hibernated for the season, the stillness of the world can be heard, as we move inside of ourselves, both reflecting on all that we've survived, and look forward to all that we will be building when the snow disappears and life comes back online in the Spring.Make no mistake, this isn't a time to shut down and go offline. We have some very important work to be doing on ourselves and the winter months provide us with limited distractions to do so.We enter into this new solar year with a curiosity of what's to come. Welcome To Capricorn Season

It's the time of the year when the Sun moves from the bright, optimistic, adventure-seeking Sagittarian energy, to the ambitious, responsible, hard working energy of Capricorn.It is no coincidence that the zodiac signs rule the timeframes that they do, and especially after the year we just had, we should all be really happy to be ending the year, and starting a new one, under the Capricorn Sun.Capricorn is an earth sign and takes their roles and responsibilities in life very seriously. The Physical Symptoms Of An Energy Upgrade

I have been talking a lot about our energy being upgraded lately, both in my blog posts and to my clients and subscribers. Receiving an energy upgrade is a very real process and has great effects on our physical bodies. Tomorrow's 8/8 Lion's Gate Portal activation is very much focused on upgrading our hearts to be strong enough to house the new, integrated vibrations we're getting glued back together with the lightcodes of tomorrow's energy.

Although we receive energetic downloads of information all throughout the year, there are some points in our calendar in which the energy is so great, that it has a Universal effect on all of us "sensitives" as we go through the process of lightening our loads and becoming more enlightened as we travel our spiritual path.

Also known as ascension symptoms, the physical body does actually suffer under these new lighter energy codes as we receive them. Depending on where you're at in your spiritual journey, and how sensitive you currently are to energies, you may be feeling a long list of physical symptoms that just can't be explained or diagnosed by medical professionals.

DISCLAIMER: Always trust your intuition on whether to get certain ailments checked out by a medical physician. When your doctor clears you of suffering from a diagnosable condition, that's when you should take the ascension symptoms into consideration. 

Since the eclipse season and the retrogrades, many people (including myself) have seen really weird aches and pains surface in their bodies. Some had old, healed ailments come back out of nowheres, while others were experiencing these aches and pains for the first time with no physical trauma to help explain their existence.

Feeling pressure, on the front of the chest, back of the neck, and in the head (especially sinus pressure) can all be linked to the physical symptoms of an energy upgrade. When we think of our physical bodies in relation to our energy centers (chakras) it becomes much easier to understand which parts of us are under the most influence as we move through the upgrade process.

I myself have been seeing bright flashes of light to my left. Vision changes - blurred vision, light sensitivities, and seeing flashes of light in the peripherals - are all common symptoms of the ascension process, or energy upgrade. The third eye chakra is the main focus of my current upgrade. I can only assume the Universe is turning up the dial on my gifts and abilities making me able to see more in the Spirit realm and strengthen my connection to those in Spirit.

Emotionally, people feel like trains wrecks, flip flopping back and forth between being happy, peaceful, calm, and having faith that everything will be okay, to depression, anxiety, panic, and a feeling of hopelessness, all in a short amount of time. These roller coaster of emotions are a perfect example of cycling through the energy upgrade, making leaps and bounds connecting with the Universal consciousness, being infused with all the lighter emotions, connecting with the optimistic future of the 5D + world, only to have the 3D world pull us back down to the heavier emotions of this human experience.

There is a constant push and pull taking place as we shed the old parts of self and embrace the new, but the purge, the cycle we are going through can be very overwhelming and confusing, especially when we aren't aware of the signs and symptoms of an energy upgrade.

Many clients have reached out to me, complaining that their sleep has been disrupted and they are having wild dreams of people and places that they've never encountered before. Please know that as we upgrade our energy and raise our vibration and frequency we connect to a totally different level of dream states than we ever had access to before.

I've been studying dreams for close to 20 years now, and yet still I'm fascinated by the fact that our subconscious mind has more power over us than our waking minds do. Diving deep into dreamwork can expose where your blocks are in your life and what pain and trauma your subconscious mind tries so hard to process while you sleep. What I've noticed, is that when we undergo such powerful energy shifts, we get exposed to parts of our Souls that have been to other dimensions with a whole group of people that we've never met before or have any point of reference of here in this lifetime.

All of these sleep disturbances are perfectly normal under the current circumstances of this energy shift. Taking pointers from our energy centers once again, those sleep disturbances would suggest that your crown chakra is the greatest focus of this upgrade, connecting you to a higher sense of knowing than what you've experienced here in this physical world.

Another common complaint is pain or discomfort in the knees. Whether you are experiencing this pain in both legs or just one, please know that this is where you hold your fear about taking your next steps on your path. If the right side of your body is giving you the issues, chances are you are struggling to embrace the change of your outer world. The fear of providing for yourself and your family, the goals and successes you fear from actually reaching, literally being afraid to take the initiative and start taking ACTION in your life. Where as, the left side indicates the emotional issues we need to resolve to remove the energetic blocks placed on our path.

In no way does this mean that these physical symptoms aren't real and any less painful just because they are energetically manifested. Instead, they are as real as it gets, indicators for us to see what lies underneath of these physical pains, and how to energetically mend them.

I can assure you that you are safe and protected as you go through this process, and that you will never be given more than you can handle. You can always reach out to your Guides and to the ArchAngels to help alleviate some of the symptoms that become too much to deal with.

It's important that you listen to your body and nurture it back to a place of health and alignment. Engaging in energy raising activities can help the transition go faster and be less intense. Below I will include what is a very long list of possible symptoms and include some activities you can try to alleviate the discomfort.

Possible Physical Symptoms you may experience during an energetic upgrade:

• Your intuition is heightened and you have an unexplained knowing that something energetically is effecting your body

• Aches and pains, tremors and twitches that come and go

• Discomfort in your joints

• Unexplained fatigue

• Pressure in the head, chest, and to your sinus area in particular

• Tingles or shocks throughout your body

• Temperature fluctuations

• Headaches that don't seem like normal headaches, unresponsive to medicine

• Blurry vision, seeing flashes or lights out of the corner of your eye

• Being overly sensitive to light

• Feely very spacey or disoriented

• Heart flutters not related to a medical condition or exercise

• Sudden panic or nervousness with no known trigger (often dissolves quickly)

• Hearing music that is not physically playing in your environment

• Hearing conversations as if you were listening to a radio

• Ear ringing

• Being overly sensitive to sound

• Feeling off balance

• Hearing electricity

• Cold or flu like symptoms that come and go without actually being a full fledged cold or flu

• Sleep disturbances

• Night sweats

• Digestion changes

• A change in dietary cravings

• Emotional disturbances

• Aversion to people, places, things that once brought you joy

• Unsure of who you are

• Developing new beliefs

• Being overwhelmed by groups or crowds

• Clumsiness, like gravity is working against you

• Forgetfulness, or feeling like there's a lapse in time

• Sudden changes to your foundations (relationships, jobs, career, living situation)

• A change in how you connect to animals and nature

• Seeing patterns and signs from the Universe

• A change in your taste buds

• Dreamscape changes (the people, places, or events in your dream world)

• Having your cell phone battery die quicker than normal (you drain it of it's energy to stay charged)

• A desire to connect with like minded people

• Moments of gratitude

• Profound ah-ha moments

• A deep sense of knowing

Things you can do to try and ease your experience:

• Give yourself time outs to check in with yourself, your wants, needs, and desires

• Excuse yourself from overwhelming situations to ground your energy

• Running your hands under cold water can help you feel more grounded

• Listen to positive music (be mindful of the lyrics and the feeling of the music - angry, harsh music should be avoided

• Spend time outdoors in nature

• Rock or sway to move the energy within

• Trust that you will be okay

• Take note of dream messages

• Eat foods that are healthy nourishment for your body

• Soak in salt water baths

• Apply heat to your aches

• Nurture and care for yourself as if you were taking care of a friend or child

• Accept and embrace the changes

• Spend time in meditation or yoga

• Breathe deeply

• Let the emotions come and go, knowing that they are merely visitors and will not stay for long

• Forgive yourself for being clumsy

• Acknowledge the points of discomfort in your body and ask yourself what the energetic reason is for these pains

• Acknowledge the flashes of light as spirit trying to communicate and tell them that you are trying hard to understand them

• Be patient with yourself as you upgrade, understanding that it is all for the greater good of who you need to be, to be in alignment with your new goals and dreams

Of course you may not be experiencing all of these symptoms, and there are definitely other symptoms that can manifest that weren't included in this list.

12/12 Activation Portal

 You may have been feeling a huge energy shift as we approach the winter solstice on the 21st of this month. That date really is a game changer. Today, December 12th, (12/12) marks another light activation sequence that will solidify our energy come the 21st.What does all this mean? You may remember the Lion's Gate portal activation. It was one of many magically numerological days where we were aligned in the cosmos in such a way that a steady stream of cosmic light was able to penetrate the earth's atmosphere and help to raise our vibration and frequency. All of these activations, portals, and accelerated downloads have been taking place to prepare us for the "new world". No, you won't wake up on the 21st and see a world different as you know it, but you'll definitely feel it!We had another gateway activation take place on November 11th, 2018 (11/11/11). This was another beam of energy that helped us raise our vibrations individually to connect and raise our vibrations collectively. Today makes the finally portal activation before the new world takes place, and for many of us already sensitive to energies you will already be seeing the effects of having our old worlds, the old parts that we've outgrown and foundations that no longer support us, fall away from us as we emerge into new territory.This portal activation is focusing more on our physical bodies as we've really grown our Soul's, consciousness and vibration exponentially. The problem is, now, our physical bodies need a bit of an upgrade to house all of this powerful energy we've created in efforts to raise the collective consciousness. You may be feeling the physical symptoms of this upgrade through aches and pains in your joints, sensitivities to loud noises and bright lights, feeling dizzy and unbalanced, and undergoing some real discomfort in your digestive system. We are essentially getting renovated. We understand that our social structures need to be reformed and that we are all connected by something greater than the internet. People are sensitive to energies now. The dreams that people have been having have given them the evidence they need to lead in blind faith. We are optimistic about a future that doesn't even resemble anything we've ever seen before, and even though the circumstances in our lives don't dictate our inner dreams coming to reality, we somehow just KNOW that they will.2019 is a year of building and creation. After a year of what has been destruction, levelling our foundations, beliefs, relationships, to the ground, we are ready to rebuild. But this time, we are doing what is best for the earth who is dying, we are doing what is best for the collective consciousness, for all the lightworkers around the world. All we have to do is let our Souls lead us. Let your Soul lead you into creating a world for yourself that you've only ever dreamt about. Mercury Enters Sagittarius

 Mercury, the planet of communication, information, technology and overall expression moves from what has been a very raw and intense experience in Scorpio to Sagittarius.Mercury is a planet that goes into retrograde 3 or 4 times a year, and when it does, it creates absolute havoc to the way we interact, the way we express ourselves and the way we process information. We were all to happy to see Mercury come out of its retrograde shell on December 6th, but when it came out of retrograde it went direct in Scorpio, making the raw details of our inner truths exposed to us in an intense way. Conflicts were on the rise as we took all of that inward retrograde energy and we surged it outwards creating quite a stir in all of our worlds.The general theme of 2018 has been to uncover the real truth of our Soul's heart and desire, encouraging us to leave old patterns, people and foundations behind if they weren't in alignment with our inner selves.This retrograde that Mercury had us in, right after the lovely goddess of love herself, Venus came out of her retrograde, had us revisiting, reviewing and repairing parts of our past. Themes from 2014 came up out of the blue, and because the communication was under the retrograde influence, in Scorpio, shit got real to say the least. Chiron Goes Direct In Pisces

 Chiron, the wounded healer planet (oid) moves into a direct position in Pisces after spending 5 months in a retrograde. As with any planet (comet or asteroid), when a retrograde takes place, the energy of that transit stays within us, triggering our pain and trauma to bring attention to areas that need healing.Over the past 5 months, we've been basically ripped open, exposing our wounds to not only ourselves but to the outer world we've created. New Moon In Sagittarius

 Welcome to the last New Moon of 2018, in the optimistic, eager-beaver, philosopher sign of Sagittarius! As we take stock of the year and all that has transpired, there is no better moon or energy to set our new goals and intentions under.New Moons are a time where we get to usher in and invite newness into our worlds. Whether we are asking for new ideas, new situations, new jobs, new homes, new relationships, or new careers into our lives, the New Moon is the moon in which we pour all of our energies into visualizing our new intentions coming to life.This New Moon being is Sagittarius makes us even more hopeful and optimistic about our future plans. Sag is all about exploring new ideas and territories, submerging ourselves into new areas of study, and of course, making us highly excited to start new adventures.This past year has been very trying for many, as we've had our foundations rattled to see what parts needed to be strengthened, while some foundations needed to be totally rebuilt. It's been an ongoing theme this year, as we are being encouraged to live more authentically according to our Soul's true heart and desires. Mercury Goes Direct In Scorpio

 Today marks the day that Mercury, the planet of communication, expression, and information is going direct again after its 3 week retrograde. Notorious for communication breakdowns, internalized feelings of confusion, information not being sent or received as normal and messed up plans, Mercury's retrograde in Sag, and then into Scorpio has been no different.There's been many situations and themes from the past coming back to haunt us, essentially testing us to see if we've grown and if we learned anything from the first time it's happened. We have get an opportunity when Mercury is retrograde to revisit, review, re-edit and repair situations that caused us pain and chaos.When Mercury first went retrograde it was positioned in Sag, lending us an opportunity to be optimistic about revisiting the past and some situations that needed a redo. Sag's energy encouraged us to explore and learn all there is to know about a topic. So when Mercury retrograde throws the past back in our faces, we wanted to learn whatever it was we didn't learn the first time around, so we could finally provide a better ending to situations that will now be closed forever, granted that we prove to the Universe and ourselves that we actually did learn from the situations and we applied our new knowledge in order to get a different outcome.When Mercury moved from Sag to Scorpio, the vibe got a bit more intense. It came with a depth of darkness and a very serious element of asking ourselves the deeper questions about the situation like, "Why is this coming up for me again?" "What didn't I learn the first time?" and "What do I need to learn in order to put an end to it for good?"When any planet is retrograde that energy, instead of getting expressed outwardly as it does in a direct position, takes on a life of it's own inside of us. We internalize our thoughts and feelings, and become withdrawn from our normal selves.Information isn't processed the same way under a retrograde so there's a certain level of confusion that we live in for the retrograde period. Now that Mercury is going direct, the confusion becomes less and that energy can be expressed outwards.We can now take all the answers to our questions and actually DO something about it. We are able to speak normally now as the filter of mental confusion gets lifted off of our minds, and the frustrations we've experienced get released as we can exert it outwards instead of keeping it all in. It's as if we come out of a deep sleep, requiring many cups of coffee to regain full consciousness and clarity moving forward.When a planet moves from a retrograde to a direct position, it essentially means that we get to move forward again in our path. Because this forward motion is taking place in Scorpio, it means we can move forward with our quest for the truth, moving forward resolving the conflicts and frustrations that took place during the retrograde. We can now start being real in our conversations, being as authentic as possible. We will have the the opportunity to transform any situation that is triggering us whether it be into a state of non-existence or into a state of new territories and boundaries.Although Mercury is going direct, there is what's called a shadow period that will still lend a touch of the retrograde confusion to the energy as it slowly stabilizes. The shadow period will be over on December 24th, just in time for the holidays.Until then, you will feel the shift of the forward motion slowly taking place. Venus Enters Scorpio

 Venus, the Goddess of love, beauty, and self-worth is now direct after her retrograde path from October 5th - November 16th. Venus's retrograde created chaos for many as we got a good look at the relationships in our life, where they may be out of balance, how we feel valued in those relationships, and basically how we love.We had some pretty revealing details shoved in our faces and onto our hearts during her retrograde. It meant the realization that we may have strayed from our Soul's path, and found ourselves in relationships that aren't nurturing our Soul's growth. The underlying issue we are all dealing with as we examine our relationships, is actually the relationship we have with ourself.We've all been levelling up our self-worth, and Venus has helped this happen even through the discomfort we've been experiencing. Now that Venus is direct, we are able to now DO something about all that we realized during her retrograde period.Think back to September and all that has changed. We've seen relationships breakdown, friendships dissolve, even business partnerships got rocked to their core. During Venus's retrograde we internalized all the events and details, and now that she's direct we are going to DO something about it.Venus went direct on November 16th, in Libra which created a softer, more harmonious tone for us to deal with. We had kinder words to use to resolve conflict and many of us had tried to restore the balance that seemed to be lost during her retrograde cycle.Now that Venus is hurrying to catch up with the Sun who is in Sag, she has no choice but to walk down the dark alley of Scorpio to get there. Scorpio is an intensely deep energy, probing with questions that will get to the bottom of any situation that needs resolution.We are currently in a Mercury retrograde that has us revisiting issues from the past, and with Venus now direct, moving into Scorpio, you can bet that things just got a bit more serious. We will find ourselves being brought back to issues that triggered us, that revealed perspectives to us that haven't sat well within. It is likely that these topics stem from the relationships that were effected during Venus's retrograde, and now we have to figure out whether they need to die off completely of whether they need to be reignited under new boundaries.Scorpio will be asking the tough questions and the answers revealed will lead you to take action. Mercury Retrograde Enters Scorpio

 Mercury, the planet of communication, information, and moving parts of all kind, has been in retrograde position (appearing to move backwards in its orbit) since November 16th. On that same day Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and self-worth came out of her retrograde period.Mercury being retrograde has always posed problems with misunderstandings from communication breakdowns, technology failures like sending the wrong email to the wrong person, or travel chaos as things just naturally seem to get mixed up. Mercury retrogrades are a great time to slow down and revisit some issues from your past that you thought were done and over with. Retrogrades give us the opportunity to take what we've learned and apply it to the recurring situation for a different ending and closure.Mercury began it's retrograde in Sagittarius, which made us all pretty damn hopeful and optimistic about the retrograde even from the beginning. Sag is big on learning and being optimistic and enthusiastic about the future, but here we are revisiting our past. There is an energy in this retrograde that makes us feel like we are ready for misunderstandings, we are ready for missing emails and no internet for no apparent reason, we are even ready for our travel plans to go awry. But as positive as we've been, no one every really knows what to expect until the past comes creeping back in.For many of my clients, they are experiencing past situations that they thought they had resolved both in the inner and outer worlds. Feelings and triggers coming up revealing areas of hurt that just don't seem to be healed. Some of my clients have been frustrated with the fact that technology isn't only messing with them, it's literally declared war! And of course, those that have suffered HUGE detours in their paths as the plans they had got thrown out the window.I myself have found issues coming up in my family structure that has me shaking my head. Is this deja vu? Are we seriously on rewind? I thought this situation got resolved eons ago! I have had my reading sessions end abruptly as my fully charged cell phone has mysteriously gone dead in seconds, I have had dropped calls with perfect cell reception, and I have had whole recorded reading sessions disappear from the cloud all together only to reappear 5 minutes into a nervous breakdown. It hasn't been fun, and it's like to get worse.We are in a Mercury retrograde until December 6th, but today, we see Mercury slide from the happy go lucky, excitable and optimistic energy of Sag, to the very intense, probing, detective like energy of Scorpio. Just when we thought we had left Scorpio season behind for good, we experience that "let's get down to the truth" kind of energy once again.Mercury moving into Scorpio means that not only are we looking back in the past dealing with issues that had been to laid to rest, we are now asking the deep seated questions of Why.... Why is this happening again? What did I miss the first time? What role am I playing to continue this storyline? And for christ sakes, WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO END IT? The answers you might come up with might not make you happy. In fact, they will like trigger the shadow parts within that are being called out to play so the Universe can zap them with some white light and transform them into something better. It's not going to be pretty, growth never is.With Venus moving back into Scorpio tomorrow, even though Venus is direct now, we get intense about what we need to DO about what we discovered when she was in retrograde from October 5th on. That wasn't pretty either!The planet of love, beauty, comfort, personal wealth, finances and SELF-WORTH unveiled a lot of details that didn't sit well with us regarding how we felt about those topics. Many relationships fell apart under Venus being retrograde, and the information that was exposed in those relationships hasn't really been dealt with yet.Now that Venus is direct, the information we learned can come out to create change. Check my next blog post on a full rundown of Venus being direct in Scorpio, but just realize that Mercury is taking us back, to ask the deep questions and then we're actually going to DO something about it.As uncomfortable as this all is, is absolutely necessary for us to go through at this time. We are getting our one last chance to purge before the New Year where we are being asked to create our new lives and build on the foundations we've just revealed.Yes, the energy is raw, it's intense, and at some points it even feels dirty, but still being in Sag season lends us the positive outlook we need and enthusiasm we need to embody in order to push through this discomfort to end up living in the new world we are about to embark on.We also have Jupiter still lending us his good fortune, and expanding the experience for ultimate growth. So when you find yourself staring past hurt and trauma in the face, wondering how the hell you can make it stop, take a breath and remind yourself of all you've learned about yourself, about how you love and want love, how you value yourself, and how you could be a better version of yourself.That will create the energy inside of you to apply what you've learned to the situation letting the Universe know that you're serious about change, and that you're willing to try new behaviours for better results versus repeating old patterns and behaviours and never really closing the door on your pain patterns.There will be many planetary shifts that will help us on this journey as we detox ourselves of all things toxic to our Souls. we are preparing to enter into the New Year with a whole new world of possibilities.So take Mercury's retrograde seriously. Astro & Tarot Forecasts - December 2018

Welcome to December!

As we crawl out of the depths and darkness of November, from Scorpio season in particular, and of course from all of the retrogrades that finally went direct, we are now squinting our eyes as we look ahead to the future, seeing a bright light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. This past year has been super intense with a record breaking number of eclipses, retrogrades, and planetary alignments that have shaken us to our core. It has been a year of unearthing the details of our souls, all in efforts to live more authentically, more in alignment with our Soul's purpose, and our heart's desires.

December will be a month where we will gain our footings and orient with our new inner compass. We had the last week of November to integrate all that we've learned about ourselves, our relationships, and our roles and responsibilities. Now, with the optimism of Sagittarius, and the good fortune of Jupiter, we can start seeing the path reveal itself in front of us. 

We enter into December under the influence of a Mercury retrograde which has us REwinding to past events, REevaluating the situation and plans for the future, REvising our hopes and dreams, and REpairing the parts within us that have suffered great pain, urging us to transform ourselves into who we need to be in order to live the life we've envisioned for ourselves. 

The New Moon in Sagittarius takes place on December 7th, offering us yet another chance to bring our dreams to life. We are in an accelerated manifestation window until the Winter Solstice on the 21st of this month. With Neptune now direct in its comfort zone of Pisces, vision work and daydreaming should come very naturally. It's important to be conscious and mindful of your focus and your inner narrative, as whatever we pour our energy into now, will come to life in the early months of the New Year. Make sure you are focused on the positive instead of the negative, abundance instead of the lack of, and realize that your inner thoughts are what the Universe listens and responds to.

On the 21st, we have the Sun moving from the future thinking, optimistic, higher learning Sagittarius, to the career oriented, structure focused, responsible and restrictive sign of Capricorn. This will continue the storyline from what we unearthed about our lives in Scorpio season, we learned about the details and how we can make them work for us in Sag season, to implementing the new details, information, and knowledge into our lives with the help of Capricorn season. The Winter Solstice also takes place on the 21st, shifting the energy to a state of renewal as we head into hibernation season, a time to reflect on the year gone by, and to look within to see what parts we need to work on strengthening in the New Year.

The Full Moon in Cancer takes place on December 22nd, bringing our New Moon in Cancer intentions we set back in June/July to a full completion. Take a moment to think back to that time and see what areas of life you were focused on changing. This Full Moon will bring those intentions full circle, and soon you will see those intentions manifest in your reality. Because we are entering into our holiday season, a time where families either come together in love, or stay divided in hurt, this Full Moon in Cancer will be highlighting our home and family life environment as Cancer rules nurturing, family, and household responsibilities. It is a very emotional and sensitive energy for many, and being a Full Moon, all about letting go and releasing energy that no longer serve us, that no longer nurture us, that no longer support us in our goals, this is the last hoorah in 2018 to leave behind all that we've discovered don't fit the roles and patterns of our new selves.

November really zapped the last of your energy out of you as you finally seen a full circle completion in a project you had set out to complete way back in the summer months. Although it's very impressive what you've created and accomplished, you may have realized that you don't have an endless supply of energy, and that if you don't carefully pace yourself, you can go from a high productive state of energy to flat-lining and feeling the physical manifestations of your depleted energy supply.

The New Moon on December 7th, will have you upgrading your new goals in life since you've seen many of your dreams come true over the past year. The second half of 2018 has really shown you that all your hard work in planning, preparing, and presenting your ideas to the world has paid off in a way that even you hadn't predicted. The Full Moon in Cancer will have you focused on how you can balance yourself between your roles and responsibilities in your home life versus your career. There are areas in both worlds that need to be nurtured and brought back to a place of power and strength. By nurturing the needs of both of your worlds, you will find a natural balance and divide your energy accordingly.

As we close out 2018, and enter into a year that will help us build our external lives into more of a reflection of our inner worlds, you will have Mars your ruling planet stationed in your first house of Self reigniting the spark and lighting the fire and passions within. PISCES (February 19th - March 19th)

Hi Pisces!

November had you heavily focused on your career and developing your routine at work. You life needs to be more in balance this month as the call for attention to your home and family area will become louder. You have been so focused on reaching a certain level of success within your career that your roles and responsibilities within your home - and to the people in it - took a back seat. Now with Neptune (your ruling planet) in a direct motion from it's retrograde position, it's time to take your blinders off and dream again.

The New Moon in Sag on December 7th, will have you more focused on your home and family and being very clear about what is needed from all of you to restore balance. With your creativity and playful side coming back to life at the beginning of the month, you will be able to think outside of the box in order to provide long lasting solutions to long standing issues within the relationships of your family. You will be filled with a sense of optimism now envisioning the goals for next year, and are now willing to pull yourself away from your career a bit to make sure these plans happen.

Neptune Goes Direct In Pisces

 Neptune, the planet of dreams and illusions, has been in retrograde position since June 18, 2018. What does this mean exactly? Well, a retrograde is when a planet that is moving in a forward motion in its orbit, suddenly slows down and stops entirely appearing to move backwards in the sky. Any time any planet is in retrograde position, it means that the energy and effect it usually has being expressed outwardly suddenly becomes inward.The planet of dreams and illusions is the natural ruler of Pisces, the sign of the fish. Often caught up within themselves, the dreams and fantasies they create and the ability to go with the flow and quickly retreat from danger, Pisces is at home and comfortable in the rivers, lakes, and oceans within. Pisces is capable of being a fun loving playful minnow basking in the shallow waters, a beta fish capable of self-destruction, or being the great white shark, the ruler and predator of the sea. Pisces doesn't like to deal with reality and the harsh truths of it all. It will maneuver its slippery self through whatever obstacles they're faced with all to avoid the confrontation of reality.Neptune, Pisces natural ruler exercises a great layer of fantasy or dream like sense over us when in it's direct position, however, since June 18th, it has been in retrograde, stripping us of illusion and forcing us to face life and the cold hard truth of reality of it all face on.It is no coincidence that Neptune went into retrograde when it did. This year has been riddled with retrogrades and eclipses so powerful that many of us have had our lives totally restructured both inside and out. Neptune going into retrograde at the time of the year it did, meant we had no choice but to see life as it actually was, deep, dirty, and disastrous, instead of being comforted with a filter of dreaminess like Neptune usually provides us with. This whole time of having our foundations and structures rattled and crumbling to the ground, our inner worlds raw and unable to escape from our inner most thoughts and feelings, and of course the details of our relationships and how we value love were stripped of the rose-colored glasses that Neptune and Pisces both fashionable wear.As raw as these changes have been, if Neptune had have stayed direct throughout all the other shifts we endured, we wouldn't have gotten the message. We wouldn't have seen it, the death and destruction of parts of ourselves and our lives as we knew it. With Neptune direct, we would have been desensitized to the pain and horror of what was actually happening. We wouldn't have seen the changes we needed to make in order to live more authentically, and we sure as hell wouldn't have felt the pain we needed to feel to catapult us on the path of healing.Now that Neptune is going direct again, still in Pisces, we are able to feel the layer of illusion blanket our lives again. Since surviving the shifts of the year, and making it out of Scorpio season, we are now under the gloriously optimistic, bright-lights of the Sun being in Sagittarius, Venus being direct again in the Libra, smoothing out the details of our relationships, and Jupiter cozying up in its natural place of comfort in Sagittarius. We now have the icing on the cake which is Neptune being direct again in Pisces.We will now feel better about moving forward as we pick up the pieces of raw truth delivered to us without tact during the alignments in Scorpio. We are excited and super hopeful for our futures and moving forward towards our new goals with Jupiter and the Sun in Sagittarius, and even though Mercury is in Retrograde, the dreaminess we are returning to with Neptune going direct isn't going to slow us down in manifesting our dreams.When Mercury is Retrograde, we are slowed down in life, and usually forced to revisit, re-examine and re-edit situations in our lives. Many people dread a Mercury Retrograde but I feel that it's a gift given to us 3 - 4 times a year that allows us to make sure we are on the right path.Often times we are lead back to the past where we can see clearly how we maybe made mistakes in standing up for ourselves and honouring our dreams. Or, we are taken back to a situation that requires a "do-over" of sorts.After what we've endured in 2018, as far as having ourselves stripped of everything we thought we knew, this Mercury Retrograde allows us to slow down and revisit our dreams.Neptune being the dreamy visionary that it is, couldn't go direct at a better time. Here we are standing in the mess and rubble that was a result of our foundations, belief systems and structures having been smashed to the ground. As if we weren't confused enough already, the Full Moon in Gemini is going to add an extra layer of weirdness to an already complex state of chaos.Full Moons are typically a time of higher sensitivities and overwhelming emotions. The overall feel of a Full Moon can feel chaotic as the energy is buzzing, influencing the tides and the bodies of water within us, while making us overly emotional with feelings we can't even pinpoint. The emergency rooms fill up with cases of crazy and accidental mishaps, the classrooms become a circus with overly energetic kids, and we all reach a tipping point within ourselves regardless if you believe in astrology or not.Each Full Moon we undergo focuses on a different area or topic of our lives as the Moon makes her journey through each sign. Welcome To Sagittarius Season

Congratulations to us all for making it through Scorpio season! It's been a tough energy to navigate and realistically, even Scorpio's are happy to have the season come to a close.This past year has been a very intense Scorpio energy kind of year. We have had Jupiter the planet of expansion in Scorpio since October of 2017, now nicely settled into its home of comfort in Sagittarius for the next year. Venus was retrograde in Scorpio since the beginning of October for this year, unveiling all kinds of deep intense emotions surrounding love, values and relationships, and over the course of this past year there's been at least one planet sitting in the energy of Scorpio causing deep, probing quests into ourselves, others we surround ourselves with, and of course all of the partnerships we find ourself partaking in. Venus is now direct and in Libra, which gives us a much lighter energy to work with. Even with Mercury being in retrograde in Sagittarius, it's not going to slow down the eagerness to have more fun and lift the spirits after one hell of a journey through the dark, intense energy of Scorpio season.Sagittarius is a fire sign that is so optimistic and cheerful that there's essentially no way to sit in the depths of emotion in Scorpio any longer. When the sun moves into Sagittarius the mood is light, cheery, and ready to explore new areas of the world. This happy-go-lucky sign is far more flexible, creative and expressive than the other fire signs, and far more light-hearted than the stubborn, emotional sign of Scorpio.If you look at Scorpio season as the unearthing time, the time where our deepest and darkest truths, feelings and desires were forced to the surface, than Sagittarius season is the light at the end of what has been a very dark tunnel. Take caution and be aware that there's a huge potential for plans made at this time to backfire in your face totally. Having "Plan B" in mind may offer you a quick and easy solution if your plans go awry.The Sun moving into Sagittarius will infuse us with an upbeat energy and make you feel a bit more open-minded than usual. Because Mercury Retrograde is also in Sag at the moment, you can expect a bit more bluntness and in-your-face attitude than normal. Again, keep in mind that our communication skills aren't what they usual are. Think of having a blurry layer of chaos blanketing all your conversations making it damn near impossible to be understood the way you intend. There is a tendency for all of us to overstep on other peoples boundaries as they can push your boundaries as well. You may notice that you get cut off in conversation having others speak over you, and of course the frustration levels are higher and trigger points are more sensitive to prompt a fiery reaction. Watch your words as there is a higher potential to come across harsher than you would like, leading to hurt feeling and defensive communications among your family, friends and co-workers. Mercury Goes Retrograde & Venus Goes Direct

 The laughs keep coming as the Universe sits back and watches us fumble through yet another energetic shift that will have most of us playing the star role in our very own comedic film. The planetary shifts keep coming, and we keep struggling to keep our head above water until 2019 shows up to throw us a floatation device.Today, we have two major shifts taking place that will set us off in yet another tailspin of truth. Mercury, the planet of communication, information, transportation and technology, goes retrograde in Sagittarius early morning, while later in the day, Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and self-worth, comes out of her retrograde path that she's been travelling since October 5th.Before we get into what each of those transit means to us, and how they will effect us moving forward, let's just take a quick look at how the storyline has been building. In writing this article, I had a very long pause as I tried to determine how far back to go to recap the events leading up until today.The truth is, 2018 has been a pure shitshow! Our foundations of our home and career got rocked and reorganized, our energy for future goals has been up and down, our relationships, how we feel about ourselves, how we feel about love, how we need love, give love, receive love, all of it has been over-analyzed and many romantic boats have been rocked so hard, that the water (emotions) that crept into our love boats caused them to sink entirely.Our self-worth, and what we actually value in life, has been scrutinized, our spiritual beliefs have been tossed in the trashed, recovered, tossed out again, and then dug out of the trash to re-evaluate what it is we're actually doing with ourselves on our spiritual path. We've had crisis points in our homes and in our careers, forced to re-evaluate and balance the roles and responsibilities pertaining to each area. We've been forced to balance out our lives making sure each area has the attention it deserves, even if it meant setting a specific area on fire to get it.To summarize, we have been put through the ringers here in 2018, and although we are all pretty much done and waving the white flag to the Universe, the show must go on.Venus started her retrograde phase on October 5th. She, the planet of love, beauty, pleasure, and all things surrounding self-worth and personal finances, took a little trip back into the past causing us to analyze the shit out of ourselves in relation to how we feel about our current relationships with those we love, those we want to love, and how we love ourselves. Venus took us back in time to a place where we were able to see ourselves in a different light to evaluate whether or not we were living in alignment with our Soul's true desires, and whether the relationships we had established were actually the healthy, supportive relationships we wanted and needed.Once Venus took a dip into the underworld (when she moved through Scorpio) the rose-coloured glasses were essentially slapped off of our faces which allowed us to see ourselves (and those we choose to surround ourselves with) from a whole new perspective.Many of us seen people for who they actually were and not who we wanted them to be. You can't unknow things like this! We had feelings of anger, guilt, displeasure, discomfort, and  the hard reality overwhelm us as the Scorpio energy unearthed details about ourselves and those we love. Many breakdowns took place, relationships suffered under conflict and tension as the shadow side of ourselves came out to play.Once Venus moved from Scorpio back into Libra, we had the opportunity to see the light again. And even though things appeared to us in a different way after seeing the masks fall off, we had an opportunity to strengthen the connections we saw value in, while we had the power of Scorpio assisting us in cutting certain people off to never return to our lives. Libra's energy was the perfect tool for us to communicate better, adding an element of peacefulness, fairness, and harmony to our words all in efforts to smooth things over, but because Venus was still retrograde, the energy tended to stay within us, internalized, versus being expressed outwardly.With Venus now gong direct in Libra, her natural house of comfort, we will see the aftermath of her retrograde journey come full circle bringing justice to all areas that were most recently out of balance. If this particular transit was the only thing happening in the cosmos, I'd say we were in for some really positive changes and blessing as far as burying the hatchet with a few people, especially being under the influence of the north node having moved into Cancer, helping us nurture ourselves and our families in ways that we realized weren't happening under the retrograde forces.

 With Venus going direct in her house of comfort under Jupiter's influence of moving into Sagittarius - his house of comfort, I would have expected big, expansive, explorations into positive resolutions in all the areas of life that got disrupted, but, because of Mars moving into Pisces yesterday, and Mercury going retrograde today, Venus going direct in Libra isn't as wonderfully positive and optimistic as I was hoping it could be.If you haven't read my latest post about Mars moving into Pisces, you should definitely check it out. To summarize, the action filled, assertive ways of Mars is being dulled down by its placement in Pisces. The forward energy of Mars has been slowed down my the current of Pisces waters, and the physical action energy of Mars has been funnelled into spiritual and emotionally charged areas within. It's a great time to be expressive, but not such a great time to get those tough conversations addressed.We've been left with a list of things to clean up from Venus's trip through Scorpio, but the Pisces energy of escaping confrontation is strong, and because of that, we no longer have the drive or clarity to provide resolution or closure to the conflicts that arose while Venus was in Scorpio. Misunderstandings are very likely as our thoughts and feelings get blurry, and procrastinations and all around laziness could lead us through this transit until it ends on December 31st.So with that layer of fun already masking the light of Venus moving into Libra, the layer of confusion and misunderstandings will only be amplified once Mercury goes retrograde.Anytime we are in a Mercury retrograde things get a bit sticky. The planet of communication, information, how we interact with others, and what we seem to understand, is under a dramatic pressure. This particular retrograde may just be the toughest retrograde yet this year, as it is layered and compounded with other aspects that make it that much more difficult to navigate.Mercury will be retrograding in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the zodiac of future forward thinking, optimistic planning, and higher learning. With Jupiter stationed in Sagittarius, its natural placement, we are experiencing a big, huge, expansion (Jupiter) in how we see our spiritual selves, our paths forward, and how to level up our current soul levels to reach the next level of awesomeness.With Mercury retrograding in Sagittarius, and the Sun soon moving into Sagittarius, we are now looking at an energy that is littered with exaggeration. Mercury retrograde slows things down for us and usually takes us back into the past to revisit some issues that finally need to be address. Mercury retrograding in Sagittarius will have us overanalyzing the details of the past, to help us understand the bigger picture moving forward. Sagittarius is the philosopher of the zodiac with an optimism that just cannot be met by any other sign.Mercury is the messenger, and the details it reveals for us will truly be pieces of the puzzle to our future vision. It's truly a time where going backwards to revisit topics can catapult us further along in our path then we ever expected. This isn't a time to be a negative Nancy. Everything we experience and learn during this retrograde will be a positive thing for us if we can handle the information properly. It is not a time to start new things, but rather a great time to pick up where you left off on certain projects and endeavours that you might have gotten away from. Travel plans always have the potential to go awry during Mercury retrogrades so please double, and triple check your itineraries. Technology is often effected by this transit, whether it be disappearing emails, cell phones malfunctioning, and over all, just technology blips that no one ever has time for.The main focus of this particular retrograde phase is to be open to having smaller details be revealed that will help you with your grander, big picture vision. Don't let the negativity get to you if plans don't unfold the way you wanted them to. Mars Enters Pisces

 The warrior planet Mars, full of energy, action, passion (and even anger) moves into Pisces, the wish-washy zodiac, who lives a life of dreams and fantasy. Mars is usually ready to jump in and tackle the next level of action required in life with a fiery attitude and will initiate new beginnings all in the name of moving forward. Jupiter Enters Sagittarius

The cherry on top of this week's energy sundae is Jupiter making his move from Scorpio into Sagittarius. Jupiter, the planet of growth, good luck and fortune, and expansion is making his yearly move into the next sign. Jupiter is most comfortable in Sagittarius, and because of the element of comfort, we will be feeling the positive energy for the next year, as Jupiter brings us opportunities of abundance that we wouldn't normally see.Whichever area of your life has been lacking growth and purpose will now suddenly be infused with a forward moving motion towards opportunities that will help your growth over the next 13 months. New Moon in Scorpio

 Normally a New Moon is light and bright and a great time to be inviting new things into our life. Whether it's new thoughts, beliefs, new patterns, behaviours, new people, new environments, new abundance or opportunities, it all starts under a New Moon. I would normally be encouraging you to sit down under the New Moon energy and make a list of all the wonderful seeds you'd like to plant for this New Moon cycle to begin. But because this New Moon is in Scorpio, the rules have changed slightly.Scorpio is the zodiac of death, rebirth, regeneration, power, control, and transformation. It rules everything dark and mysterious in life and taboos are it's speciality.This New Moon being in Scorpio, is pretty intense all on its own, but of course there are many other shifts taking place surrounding this New Moon that will no doubt have us unearthing details about ourselves and our feelings that we can no longer run from. With the lunar nodes making their move into new signs yesterday, and Uranus still retrograde but switching signs into Aries, the themes of all this energy shifting couldn't be any more passionate and powerful.The unfortunate part of this New Moon in Scorpio, is that you will be triggered multiple times in the days surrounding this moon. North Node Moves Into Cancer

 We start the transformative month of November off with a bang in the cosmos as the north node moves into Cancer, highlighting our karmic path forward as we dissolve our karmic ties to the past.On November 6, the energy will shift all in efforts to upgrade our collective consciousness. With Uranus retrograding back into Aries taking another layer off of our beliefs surrounding who we are, our identity, our ego, all in the quest for truth, we have the north node moving into the nurturing, home and family environment of Cancer.The nodes make their move into a new sign every 18 months, and with it, a huge shift within us as individuals, and a shift within the larger collective consciousness takes place. What does this mean exactly? The Lunar nodes (north & south) rule our destiny as a whole. The South node is our karmic past, what we are letting go of within ourselves such as old outdated programming, habits or behaviours, while the north node is our destiny, where we are headed, upgrading our energy and vibrations to help the overall vibration and frequency of the planet.For the last 18 months, the nodes have been on a Leo/Aquarius axis, meaning we were being encouraged to share our talents and skills with the world, embracing our individuality as part of the greater good to help shine a light and raise the energy around love, passion, and creativity. Leaving the aquarian energy of always thinking about the collective, and in turn creating a detachment or lack of compassion for our individual struggles, we were able to transform that energy into something lighter. The lunar nodes being on the Leo/Aquarius axis had humanity more focused on "Look at me, how special and unique I am!" the attention-seeking energy, that was self-serving instead of being a part of the larger, global picture.Now with the north node moving into Cancer, the Mother and nurturer of the family and home, we will see a shift back on the grander global picture as we examine all the awful things we've done to our planet, and do what we can to love, nurture and support the planet, as we try to restore the balance.The north node being in Cancer means the south node is in Capricorn. This Cancer/Capricorn axis will have us striving for a work-life balance, as Capricorn embodies government systems and institutions, roles and responsibilities, and placements of power. This shift will have us pulling away from the disempowerment of the feminine, the need for power and control, greed, and corruption within larger institutions. With the north node leading us into Cancer, we are going to tap into our intuition, our inner-feminine, and provide love and nurturing to ourselves, those we love, our planet, and the greater collective consciousness.The next 18 months will have members of our soul family reuniting, find their way back to us through following the magnetic pull of higher vibrations and frequencies. Our egos will be dissolving as we let our intuition and vulnerability lead the way into the future, abandoning our need to be cut throat and self-serving. Instead we feel the connection to others, to our planet, and to the greater good.This shift is a powerful one as we move from the fire/air axis of Leo and Aquarius, to the water/earth axis of Cancer and Capricorn. We are essentially moving away from the aggressive actions taken to stand out in the world as special or unique, instead embracing the loving nature of how we are all connected and working towards a uniting energy as a global collective.This shift taking place on the same day the USA is ready to vote, our global future could not be more in focus. We have had enough time to see what kind of destruction can take place in the world within 18 months with self-serving leaders more concerned about their reputation than the country or world as a whole. Now is the time where the energy will support us in moving forward towards a more understanding, compassionate, energy.
