Mercury Enters Pisces

Mercury, the planet of communication, information, and the ruler of our mental plane is now moving out of Aquarius, where we were blessed with moments of pure inspiration and brilliant ideas leading us to make great changes in our lives, to Pisces, where it’s not in its most favourable position in the cosmos.

When Mercury enters into intuitive and dreamy Pisces, the information in our worlds and communication of all kinds gets wish washy and kind of vague. Mercury is in it’s weakest place of power in Pisces as the emotional and sensitive water sign leaves little clarity to the matters of the mind as it lets intuition and subconscious mind lead.

Mercury entering into Pisces can often feel like a mercury retrograde, (which is going to happen later this month). We will become more imaginative and expressive with our ideas and have visions of creativity and dreamy like qualities.

The arts, music, dance and of course psychic abilities, will be enhanced under this placement and influence, but other than expanding our dreams and ideas, other than exploring the depths of our emotions and intuition, we really won’t have the best time in expressing ourselves, communicating with clarity, or the ability to focus on our mental activities like we’ve been able to do under Aquarius’s energy.

Pisces prefers to live in their inner worlds, to be in touch with everything beyond this physical realm, and will do pretty much anything to escape the harsh realities of our day to day life. We are in an opportune energy to expand on our dreams and really allow our imaginations to run wild.

Be cautioned that you may find the ebb and flow of the Piscean energy a bit overwhelming to adjust to, as we are now asked to give our physical and mental bodies a rest and let our inner worlds take over. We can learn a lot about ourselves during any planet’s placement in Pisces, however, Mercury is making the first move as the Sun will move into Pisces on the 18th. We will get a little taste of what to expect over the next month and a half when we enter Pisces season from the initial shift and energy of mercury moving into Pisces today.

Take a time out from reality and move inward to see what your intuition and subconscious mind wants you to explore. This is a time for spiritual expansion and learning to use your intuition to guide you and learning to communicate your inner most dreams and desires to the external world.

As you move into the dark days before your birthday, there’s a time of reflection for you to see how everything truly comes full circle. TAURUS

You’ve definitely been expanding your mind especially where being more social and making new connections are concerned. The new goals you’ve been setting for yourself, may not seem like a big deal to the average person, but because you only change things up when you feel compelled to do so, these changes, for you, are huge! There’s a new awareness you have about the importance of friendships and connecting to a larger group of people, other than just your close circle of friends and family. Being introduced to new social situations doesn’t seem as overwhelming as it once did. You’ll feel a huge emotional weight be lifted off of your heart space mid month, as a painful family dynamic has now come full circle in order to be healed. You may see some old friends from the past make an appearance towards the end of the month, as your karmic connections and contracts are being renewed.

GEMINI

There’s a lot going on in that mind of yours Gemini, and although you seem split down the middle about your current position within your career, new karmic contracts to help with your advancement will find their way to you this month. The weight you’ve been carrying in your mental plane has been a big one, and this month you’ll get a time out from the Universe to truly reflect upon all that you’ve been through since August. Since you prefer to process your emotions in a logical way, you may find it hard to handle the surge of emotions breaking through the walls you’ve built around your heart space. New Moon in Aquarius

With the arrival of the New Moon in Aquarius, we can fully dive into this Aquarian energy and swim through the vastness of freedom it offers. We have been trying to get the ball rolling on our plans of bringing our dreams to life ever since we broke into 2020, so any plans you have, if initiated under this new moon will have no choice but to successful.

New moons are all about inviting in new ideas, new plans, new people, new goals, and depending on where this new moon is taking place in your birth chart, you will have great success in bringing those energies to life. Aquarius is the "breakthrough" energy so no matter what it is you are trying to bring to life, you will no doubt be breaking through some of the delays and obstacles that have been holding these new cycles back. You have unique ideas, and under this influence they will be progressive and directed towards evolving your life to the next level.

These breakthroughs will be helping you to free yourself from different restraints and limitations you've previously felt in your world, and with your new out of the box thinking, and the inspiration driving you, this new energy cycle will be life changing.

Welcome To Aquarius Season

After a "nose to the grindstone" kind of month in Capricorn season, focused on our goals and ambitions, getting together a step-by-step plan, and thinking logically and practically about our future, we're now going to get a little bit of a break as we enter into Aquarius season.

If you look at the progression of each zodiac season, what the focus is on, and the energy lent to us to build ourselves a new reality, you will be happy to take a quick peek at what the Aquarian energy will influence us to do. Aquarius, is an air energy, represented by the water bearer, combining the intuition of water and the mental skills of an air, it is focused on liberating ourselves from restrictions, embracing our individuality, and stepping into who we actually are in this world to the ultimate path to freedom.

Aquarians are visionaries getting brilliant ideas and inspirations that are very forward thinking and innovative. Although they like to express their unique individuality, they are greatly focused on the larger collective. Aquarius energy will have us taking the steps towards living our most authentic lives by truly embracing who we are, and stepping into our personal power, freeing us from social norms and roles placed on us from society.

We get to breathe a bit deeper as the Sun leaves Capricorn and its restraints behind. Our thirst for knowledge trumps everything now as we've spent the time under Capricorns influence to create a blueprint of where we want to see our path lead us. We have done the work to refine our ideas, focusing on what's actually achievable and now we get to go after every ounce of knowledge we need to implement the plans we've finally be able to approve.

Under the Aquarian energy we will clearly see what is outdated in our lives, what we've out grown as far as limiting beliefs and restrictions in our roles and responsibilities. We are thinking so grand and so far into our futures now that we can actually see what awaits us off in the horizon. Expect many "ah-ha!" moments of absolute brilliance and inspiration as we gain a greater perspective of all the moving parts in our lives. We are more open to trying new things and coming up with creative solutions on how to do things in our day-to-day life.

Even if you've been stuck in a mundane routine with your household chores, you can expect "Ahah!" moments leading you to newer, faster, more efficient ways of doing things.You will be feeling a deep sense of freedom now, especially leaving the weighted Capricorn energy behind.

As much as we benefited from the Capricorn influence, the rigidness of Capricorn's focus is far too restricting for Aquarius season. We are breaking the moulds under this new energy. Breaking the structures and limitations that we felt was our safety and security under Capricorns influence. Take what you've learned and created under the Capricorn energy, the logic the practicality, the plans you have created for yourself, and use them as building blocks to create your new world.

Tap into the Aquarian energy and see where you can free yourself from restraints in your life, in your plans, and in your vision for the future. See where you can stand up in the world and be seen for the unique individual you are, embrace your weirdness and express yourself and your forward thinking ideas. Take a good look at the grand vision you hold for yourself, at the life that you are looking forward to living, and ask yourself are you who you need to be to actually LIVE this life?

This is your chance to embrace all of the qualities you've been hiding away from the world in order to become the person you've always been, to lead you into the new world that you are creating. There is no better time to step into your weirdness and start dancing to the beat of your new drum than when the Sun is in Aquarius.

Mercury Enters Aquarius

With Mercury, (the planet of communication, information, and expression) leaving the hardworking, goal oriented energy of Capricorn, we now have triggered our thirst for knowledge as it makes its way into Aquarius.

The time it spent in Capricorn lent us an amazing energy to sort things out and get a bit more organized, logical, and practical in our lives, especially in the ways of thinking, processing the information being revealed to us, and expressing ourselves with more clarity. We take that beautiful foundation which we created during the past month and are now transforming our energy into one where we are going after whatever knowledge and information we need to get our Capricorn plans into motion.

Aquarius is an air sign and the transition Mercury makes into an air sign (being an air energy itself) is one of ease and absolute brilliance! We are open to new concepts and new ways of doing things. We are eager to learn all there is to know about what it takes to bring our dreams to life.

When Mercury moves into Aquarius, we are suddenly experiencing life at an accelerated rate. We are taking in details and information from our lives and processing it with extreme levels of efficiency and the ability to think outside of the box to come up with creative solutions will appear as moments of pure brilliance. It's as if somehow we are locked into some sort of higher frequency giving us bits and pieces of our future so we can connect the dots from our current standing to see what needs to take place to get to the grand vision we are bringing to life.

Our minds are totally open under the influence of this energy and there is no better time to surrender to the mental powers at work allowing moments of inspirations and forward thinking innovation flow through you. We aren't limiting ourselves especially where our thinking and expressing ourselves are concerned. We are now an open book ready to write new pages and chapters in our lives.

You may find yourself having great ideas that totally challenge old parts of yourself, social norms, and challenge you to be more open. Aquarius is a very rebellious energy and your thoughts and ideas might just carry that same kind of energy.

Prepare yourself to be mentally exhausted by the end of Mercury's stay in Aquarius as this mental energy is intense. Our emotional, and even spiritual sides take a back seat through this transit as all this air energy infuses our intellects with a higher vibration for us to grow upon. Don't be surprised if you suddenly see your life and the people in it from a brand new angle, as the ability to switch up and change perspectives under mercury's influence in Aquarius is very high. You will feel your emotional body take a neutral place as the objectiveness of Aquarius take the lead gathering the information needed to make a fair assessment of the situation of the utmost importance.

There is a great caution that comes with this mentally stimulating energy which is that you could easily hurt the feelings of those you love due to our sensitive sides being muted for our intellects to do the trailblazing. Be very cautious with the matters of the heart and navigate serious emotional conversations with great care.

Venus Enters Pisces

Venus, the Goddess of love, beauty, and money makes her way from Aquarius into Pisces. When Venus moves into a new sign, her focus becomes fine tuned to the energetic influence of the zodiac sign she occupies. Anytime Venus is concerned our values and worth come up for review especially where our relationships, joy, and personal finances are concerned.

Venus entering into dreamy Pisces, will have us swimming in our emotions as we take a look at the current situation of our love life, the activities (chores or jobs) that bring us joy, and our personal finances. Venus loves being in Pisces because she can be as lovey-dovey as she wants and the depths in which she loves goes deep. Although the sensitive waters of Pisces make for some really beautiful moments of connection, forgiveness, and understanding, we can also get caught up in the dreaminess of it all.

Sometimes we get caught up in the illusion of being happy in our relationships, feeling like the scales are balanced, however, under this influence it's a good time to see whether we are giving more than we are getting. The energy exchange between us and those we value could be out of whack and require some boundaries to be put in place to protect yourself from giving the best parts of yourself away to other people. Pisces is deeply emotional and has a tendency to become very overwhelmed with all the feels causing them to want to retreat or escape reality all together.

It's important during this time to recognize that you are in fact wearing rose coloured glasses as you look at your love and money situations, and depending on the darkness of the shade of rose, you may be missing the details of reality altogether. Although this is a time where we'd like to get lost in fantasy land, pretending that all is well in the world, the reality is, there are a few situations that are suffering under the want, need, and desire to escape the responsibilities of life.

There are boundaries that need to be put in place and enforced, and there are scales that need to be balanced. It's okay though, if you choose to lay back and ride the sweet, dreaminess of Venus's time in Pisces, you can definitely do that, but be forewarned that when she moves into Aries, the rose coloured glass get smacked off your face leaving you in shock of all that you "thought" to be true.

Another caution I'd like to put out there, is that during this time while Venus is in Pisces, we can be feeling very lonely, isolated, and sad. Pisces is the sign that "suffers in silence". Because Venus is all up in Piscean waters wanting to be so madly in love, it can cause those in relationships who are lacking that kind of connection to be sad, feeling alone even while in a partnership.

Our wants, needs, and desires to have that undeniable connection with another person is very intense now. So if you are coupled, and not “drunk in love" this could be a very eye opening time for you. For those of you that are single, the loneliness of wanting that companionship seems too intense to hide. We may find ourselves in a pool of sadness, wondering if we will always be alone.

I extend these cautions, not to be a “Debbie Downer” but to make you aware of the different levels of experience that Venus entering into Pisces can bring. We really do have the greatest opportunities to redefine our relationships, our values, our joy, and our money. Make sure that you are reserving the best parts of yourself FOR yourself.

You need to be honest in deciphering whether you are giving too much of yourself to people, jobs, or tasks that aren't filling up your Soul cup. Or, like I said, we do have the option to totally surrender to this energetic influence and really tap into the lovey-dovey feels of it all and ride the wave until reality wakes us up out of our slumber.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Cancer

The Full Moon is in her place of power in Cancer. Our intuition and emotions are heightened, showing us where the foundations need to be strengthened inside the home and in the relationships within it. This Full Moon in Cancer is under an amplified energy from the lunar eclipse, connecting the energy to other cosmic events that have already taken place.

Most recently, the new moon eclipse we had in Capricorn on December 26th, activated the portal we are currently in, accelerating timelines and creating a huge download of intuitional knowledge of where we are going in the future. Not so recent events (1982, 2001, and 2010) are also closely related to this full moon in cancer, indicating where chapters are ending, books are closing, and release if finally being let go.

This full moon in cancer, is the first of 3 major astrological aspects taking place this weekend. Uranus stationing direct and ready to move forward in breaking free from past restrictions, is taking place later on today ( and into tomorrow depending on where you’re at in the world). Followed by the most historic astrological event we will experience in our time, the great Saturn and Pluto conjunct taking place on Sunday.

This monumental event will go down in the history books as the great transformation of our time. (If you haven’t already listened to the podcast on this you definitely should)!

Although not a major event, Venus moves into fantasy driven Pisces on Monday, really giving us an opportunity to float away in our daydreams, providing a semi-escape to the heavier topics and themes being triggered under the influence of these other major events.

What is being highlighted for us as we move into this energy, is the balance between the roles and responsibilities in our home life versus our career life. The foundations of the structures in our lives, (systems, routines, careers, relationships) are all being spotlighted under the illumination of the moon, showing us where we need more boundaries, what we need to start nurturing, and certainly the ideas and emotions we’re being encouraged to let go of.

Uranus Goes Direct in Taurus

Today, Uranus is going direct in Taurus, after being retrograde since August. Uranus first entered into Taurus back in May of 2018, starting the domino effect of having our foundations rattle into a pile of dust.

Uranus is the planet of sudden change, rebellion, and freedom, while Taurus is a fixed earth sign focused on being productive using the skills and talents to the best of their ability to create financial wealth and long-term security. Uranus in Taurus isn't the best blend of energies, but since its pairing we have seen the influence of their energy on a public platform, effecting our earth with climate control, and natural disasters, we've seen it creep into our banking structures, and in an increased value and worth in the female population.

Uranus going direct gives us an opportunity to make the changes we need to make, to align the inner work we’ve done while it’s been retrograde, to our outer realities. Uranus will be in Taurus until April of 2026, and as an outer planet, its energy effects are low and slow. Because Uranus is all about let go of attachments, especially where physical and monetary matters are concerned, and Taurus being so stubborn not wanting to make even the slightest change, we really are going to struggle with the inner conflict of letting go of all that we are overly attached too, and making the necessary changes in our lives to reflect that.

Globally, we need new innovations to help save our mother earth, we need to breakthrough bringing the health and wellness of our planet back to the forefront of concern. Adopting new green energy concepts, promoting living off grid, and focusing on the diets we consume, promoting to live more off of the earth, will be just a few focuses of this energy. We may see a disruption to the financial market as new currencies such as crypto, bitcoin, and other digital currencies make more of a splash.

Mars Enters Sagittarius

Mars - the warrior planet ruling over energy, drive, passion, and anger - moves from it’s place of comfort from Scorpio into Sagittarius. While Mars was in Scorpio, we had our focus on what it is we desire. We explored the depths within us to see where it is we want to go from here. That energy was very intense and highly focused on making things happen in order to align ourselves with the right path to get us to our ultimate vision.

Now that Mars in entering into the fiery, fancy-free sign of Sagittarius, our quest for learning and exploration becomes heightened. We are eager to learn about new things under this transit. The Sagittarian energy has us excited and curious about the world around us, and very motivated to jump into new things where learning are concerned.

Welcome To Capricorn Season

It's the time of the year when the Sun moves from the bright, optimistic, adventure-seeking Sagittarian energy, to the ambitious, responsible, hard working energy of Capricorn.

It is no coincidence that the zodiac signs rule the timeframes that they do, and especially after the year we just had, we should all be really happy to be ending the year, and starting a new one, under the Capricorn Sun.

Venus Enters Aquarius

Venus has spent the last month in Capricorn, where she was all business reviewing her long-term commitments, relationships and values. It was all work and no play, and now that she is leaving Capricorn for Aquarius, you can be sure that she will be feeling much freer under this influence.

Chiron Goes Direct In Aries

Chiron, the wounded healer planetoid, is going direct in Aries after a 5 month retrograde. Chiron went retrograde back in July forcing us to reflect back on all of our wounds. Most of these wounds involved the trauma to our ego and identity, revealing where it is we needed more independence and freedom. We don’t want to feel held back or restricted in any way now, especially if those restrictions were placed on us, BY us.

Because Chiron will be staying in Aries until 2027, we are going to experience many opportunities to break free from areas of our lives that we have been feeling held back. When Chiron was retrograde, we moved inside of ourselves to encounter these pains. Now that Chiron is going direct again, we can start experimenting with ways to heal ourselves and reprogram some of the thoughts we’ve carried into our adult hoods from our childhood.

A lot of people are recognizing their worth wounds. Feeling not good enough or essentially worthless. Now with Chiron direct, we are feeling the strength within to raise our vibration, strengthen our belief within ourselves, and increase our self-worth with every step forward we take. We are done living in the shadows and have no more time or energy to put into playing small.

Full Moon In Gemini

The last full moon of 2019 takes place in Gemini where we bring a closure and an ending to the negative mental train of thoughts and the chaos in our minds. Gemini represents the twins, the duality within, where we struggle to find that cozy spot in between the two extremes of our selves.

A Full Moon classically heightens our emotions and subconscious to release a certain cycle that we’ve been dealing with for the past 6 months. This final full moon of this year and decade will see us breaking free of the old mental loops we’ve been struggling to leave behind, and to leave the chaos that has been attached to us in the past for good. Because Gemini is all about our mental planes, information, and communication, we will likely be more apt to talk about our feelings now, in a way we haven’t been able to express fully in months gone by. There are a lot of feels coming up related to the home and family sector, that with all the changes and adjustments of the last few months, finally need to be talked about.

This is a beautiful time to blend our mental plane (Gemini) with our emotional plane (the moon) and talk about the kinds of changes we want to make in our daily lives and routines moving forward. Mercury Enters Sagittarius

Mercury enters into Sagittarius today, triggering a journey of the mind. Mercury rules over the mental plane, how we bring information in, process it, for new opinions, and then express that out into the world. There is a direct energy backing our words, and although they may be true and riddled with honesty, they can also come of very direct, blunt, and to the point.
